I decided to do this ride because of my friend Sylvia. I was living with her and Tom when she decided to ride. When Sylvia told me she was going to ride, I signed on. With all the upheaval in my life in the past year I wanted to do something that was not related to my house. This was the perfect opportunity to get my mind off the house, get me off my butt, and help others.

We all know or have lost someone to cancer. My mom goes to the Relay For Life every year. Walking around a track is not my thing, but I've always loved bike riding.

So, here I am.
Riding 50 miles with Sylvia.

This organization makes a difference, and I hope my riding and fundraising will further the good they're doing.
