I've signed up for the 2009 LiveStrong Challenge, a 100-mile cycling event in San Jose.

I'm entering as part of Team Fat Cyclist (my favorite bike blog is www.fatcyclist.com; long story behind the unusual name). Our goals are to form the largest LiveStrong team ever (by recruiting 1,000 participants) and to make the largest donation by a team (by raising $1,000,000 for cancer research).

I know most of you generous folks have already made charitable arrangements, but, if you happen to have any extra money lying around, please consider sponsoring me.
