I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years and I'm going to give it a go this year. I'm postponing my next set of treatments until after all my summer adventures and I'm now in good enough shape to do 50 miles! I picked San Jose because it had the greatest probability of being flat (uh oh...). This is the first time (and likely the last) I’ve done a fundraiser and actually solicited for contributions. I know times are tight, if you feel like donating, please do. Even a 5 or 10 dollar donation to the LiveStrong Challenge will make a difference.

I have enjoyed reading the Fat Cyclist blog for a few years. This year, Elden (aka Fatty) is trying to raise a bunch of money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I decided to join his team (www.fatcyclist.com). Donna's throwing in with me. There's still time to join up if you want to ride.

If you have had cancer or you know anyone who has had cancer, you know what a great resource the Lance Armstrong Foundation is.

Unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything.
